Lisa and Darren - Grittleton House

Lisa got in touch just a few short weeks before their wedding to ask if I was able to document their intimate ceremony. I absolutely LOVE Grittleton House and so my answer was an emphatic yes!

I am always a little nervous if I haven’t met a Bride and Groom in person before the wedding (we had only ever conversed via video call and email) but I needn’t have worried - Lisa and Darren were so lovely! They simply wanted lots of candid photos of their day and their guests enjoying themselves.

Micro-weddings have found their way into my range of packages because of everything that has happened over the last couple of years but it looks as though they might be here to stay - I am definitely finding that lots of couples out there are still opting for smaller, more intimate celebrations and I really love documenting them.

Lisa and Darrens’s celebration was full of everything that I have come to love about micro-weddings - the gathering of closest friends and family, lots of laughter and happy smiles, all taking place in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. I only spent a couple of hours with them - to document the ceremony and the drinks reception - but I still managed to take LOTS of photographs!

Below you will find a small selection of images from the day. To view the full gallery, please head here (the password can be obtained from Lisa or Darren).
