The Pewsham, Chippenham - Jo and Keith

What were you up to on May 6th? Perhaps watching the Coronation alongside millions of others?

Well, Jo and Keith were busy getting married!

I joined them at the Registry Office in Chippenham for their intimate ceremony after which their plans to take their formal photos in the courtyard were scuppered by the rain. An executive decision was made and we all decamped next door to the Angel Hotel to await the arrival of the coach which was going to be delivering them and their guests to The Pewsham a few miles away.

I dashed on ahead to ensure that I could grab lots of detail shots and was excited to find a vast amount of flowers, a beautiful cake and lots of other personal touches that kept me busy until everyone arrived. The hope was that the rain would dissipate to give us enough time to take some outdoor shots at the reception but unfortunately that wasn’t to be the case.

It rained.

And it rained

And it rained some more!

Thankfully it didn’t dampen spirits so we decided to make the most of the beautiful marquee and take all of the photos under canvas instead.

And before I knew it, my time with Jo, Keith and their wedding guests was over! I left them to their delicious looking buffet and headed home to catch up on the days historical events (typically watching the weather improve every minute of my journey!).

Below you will find a small selection of my favourite images from the day. To view the full gallery, please contact Jo or Keith.
