The Old Bell, Malmesbury Wedding Photography - Flor and Andrew

I’m always interested to hear how people find me and, also, why they are drawn to my portfolio.

When Flor got in touch to chat about her upcoming wedding plans, I was really intrigued to hear that she had got in touch mainly because of what she had read on my “About Me” page.

Having lived in Dublin for three years, it turned out that Flor had also lived in Dublin before finding herself here in Wiltshire. We hit it off right away and I was really happy when she asked me to photograph her wedding in Malmesbury.

The day (although the celebrations continued way beyond just the one day!) was specifically tailored to be completely unique. Flor and Andrew got married at the Registry Office in Chippenham but, to my surprise, they didn’t actually want me to photograph that part of the day!

Instead, Flor asked me to join her and Andrew at their home to take some photographs before they left for the ceremony and then head on to Malmesbury where they were heading immediately after the legal ceremony for a wedding blessing in the Abbey.

Following their blessing, Flor, Andrew and all of their guests simply walked next door to the Old Bell Hotel where their drinks reception and wedding breakfast was taking place.

With friends and family joining them from both near and far - Flor’s sisters had travelled all the way from Mexico - it was a really lovely, intimate celebration and I was so happy to be able to document it for them.

Below you will find a small selection of my favourite images. To view the full gallery, please contact Flor or Andrew.
