Elmhay Park Wedding Photography - Natalie & Edward

On the weather-front, Natalie and Edward’s celebration was certainly a day of two halves. The morning consisted of clouds and rain showers but by the time the ceremony was over, the sun appeared and we were able to enjoy blue skies for the rest of day!

But let’s not jump ahead of ourselves! My first task of the day was to find Edward for some pre-wedding shots of him with his groomsmen. I then hot-footed it up to the Castle to join Natalie, her bridesmaids and friends for their final preparations. Natalie had ensured that everything was timed to perfection so that we even had some time for photos in the garden (thankfully the rain had cleared by this point) and a “first look” photo with her parents. It was then time to head back to Elmhay Park where the rest of the day was to take place.

Their ceremony took place in the Italian Garden - a lovely space which is undercover but open to the garden beyond. It was a short but beautiful ceremony and we were all soon outside for the confetti run! The celebrations continued with drinks in the walled garden whilst the guests were entertained by a harpist.

Formal photos complete, I stole Natalie and Edward away for a short time for their couples photos before everyone made their way into the Orangery for the wedding breakfast and the speeches. These turned out to be rather amusing a featured a special appearance from one of Edward’s groomsmen in the form of a cushion as he had been unable to make it for the days celebrations!

The guests were then able to make the most of the, now glorious, sunshine before the evening party was kicked off with the cutting of the cake. As twilight approached, we headed outside for sparklers before I said my goodbyes and left them to their party.

Below you will find a few of my favourites. To view the full gallery, please contact Natalie or Edward.
