As Simon revealed during his speech, there was no “Plan B” so I was over the moon that the weather turned out AMAZING for his and Daisy’s wedding in June!

Their wedding took place at Lower Rudloe Farm just outside of Corsham and the plan (rain or shine it seemed!) was for them to say their vows in the woods surrounded by all of their friends and family.

So, after joining Daisy briefly for her morning preparations, I dashed off to the venue which I had been excited to shoot at ever since they booked me. If you have ever driven from Corsham towards Box along the A4, you will know that as you start to descend the hill the view opens up and you can view the rolling hills for miles! Well, that was the backdrop to their day - simply beautiful!

I don’t really know what to say because, for this wedding in particular, the photos really do all of the talking.

Suffice to say, it was a beautiful relaxed day which commenced with their wedding blessing in the woods and continued with a drinks reception with THAT amazing backdrop. The wedding breakfast took place in a barn overlooking the same view and their day was rounded off with a big party which included their first dance to “Helpless” from Hamilton. We even managed to grab some sunset shots before I made my exit.

All in all a pretty perfect day!
