The Pewsham, Chippenham - Lisa and Terry

In May earlier this year I photographed my first wedding at The Pewsham in Chippenham and here I was back again, just 2 months later, this time for Lisa and Terry’s celebration.

I joined them first at the Chippenham Register Office to photograph their wedding ceremony where the Wessex Room was packed to full capacity.

After a handful of photos in the courtyard we all made the short trip across to The Pewsham for their wedding breakfast and celebration. Last time I was at The Pewsham, it didn’t stop raining! In contrast, the weather for todays celebration was sunny and hot! That meant, of course, we were able to do the group photos outside. With the garden set aside for their use, we actually opted to head towards the front of the venue and use the well and trees as a backdrop. It was rather amusing having lots of cars toot in celebration as they passed by!

I stayed with them through to the evening which meant I was able to document the speeches, cutting of the cake and the first dance after which I left them to party the night away - the celebrations were certainly in full swing when I left!
