Limpley Stoke Hotel - Jules and Bob
What a beautiful day it turned out to be for Jules and Bob’s Wedding! In fact, I feel like it was one of the hottest days of the year so far!
After going Jules and her bridesmaids briefly for some photos of their final preparations, I dashed ahead to the Church so I could be on site to capture photos of the guests arriving. Having photographed at the same Church few years ago, I already knew that it was pretty cosy - i.e. there wasn’t much space to allow me to move around during the ceremony. I therefore opted to shoot from the back and the side aisles rather than from the Choir stalls - although that is normally where I prefer to stand, it meant that I would have been trapped in the same place throughout the entire ceremony as there were no side aisles which I could use to sneak back and forth.
It turned out to be the best decision as it meant I was able to move around more freely - plus the heat worked in my favour as they had a couple of doors propped open which meant I could escape out one door and in through another to grab some different angles.
After the ceremony, we all headed en masse to a local Manor House (owned by a musical celebrity who will remain un-named 😉) for formal photos. We also managed to fit in a very quick couples shoot and were joined partway through by their two dogs. Before too long, it was time to depart and we all made our way on to Leigh Park Hotel for the reception.
We were greeted by welcome drinks and canapés and we had just enough time for a few more formal photos, including some picture of Jules and her Bridesmaids in their biker jackets. I ended my time with them by grabbing a few photos of them cutting the cake (or at least pretending to) before I left them to their celebrations.
Below you will find a small handful of images to give you a taste of the day! To view the full gallery, please contact Jules or Bob.
