Leigh Park Hotel - Jenny and Richard

Jenny and Richard have been on a bit of a rollercoaster. Their wedding had initially been planned to take place on the 21st March 2020. But with all of the uncertainly flying around at that time, everyone was ready for it to go ahead until, just mere days beforehand, the venue advised them to postpone.

Fast forward two years and after two postponements the day had finally arrived and I was so happy that their celebration was going ahead at last!

I arrived at Leigh Park to capture photos of the guests arriving and mingling in the garden before the ceremony took place in the conservatory. It was a lovely family celebration with Jenny’s brother walking her down the aisle, Richards Dad acting as best man and, with their two families coming together, their children acted as bridesmaids and page boys with the two youngest both providing a reading (and amazingly well they did too!).

Jenny and Richard had opted not to have too many formal photos which meant that I could concentrate on capturing lots of informal and candid photos of their guests whilst they enjoyed the drinks reception on the patio.

After whisking Jenny and Richard off for a few couples photos, it was then time for the wedding breakfast, the speeches (which involved gifts of a pair of Crocs and a mini Henry hoover!) and a mock cake cutting at which point the cake was revealed to be hiding a secret on the back - Harry Potter lego figurines!

It was a really lovely day which I have tried to represent with the small selection of photographs below. To view the full gallery, please contact Jenny or Richard.
