Grittleton House - Lily and Michael

Lily and Michael were married at the beautiful Grittleton House on a sunny day in August. Having met them earlier in the year for their pre-wedding photoshoot at Grittleton, I was really excited to how all of their wedding plans came together.

And I have to say - it was beautiful! From the pretty ceremony set-up which included lots of pampas grass, through to their amazing cake and the photo backdrop which had been created by specially by Lily’s Dad.

I arrived to find Lily upstairs getting ready in the spacious Drawing Room and immediately busied myself grabbing photos of her jewellery, flowers and amazing dress! I then went to find Michael and was pleasantly surprised to find that he was wearing a pink suit! I think this is the first time I had ever seem a Groom wearing a pink suit- pink ties and pocket squares, yes, but never a pink suit! I loved it and it definitely suited him!

The ceremony was an emotional one with more than a few happy tears being shed as Lily made her entrance. It was then time for confetti, drinks and the formal photos. Thankfully the weather was on our side so after completing the formal photos overlooking the Italian Gardens I stole Lily and Michael away for their couples photoshoot. With the weather so amazing, we would later head back outside for some golden hour photographs on the lawn and to also meet the local herd of Cows (as I picked up from the speeches, Lily is a HUGE animal-lover)!

It was a really amazing day full of love and laughter and with the cake-cut, the evening was rounded off with dancing in the Billiard Room.

Below you can find a small selection of my favourite photos from the day. To view the full gallery, please contact Lily or Michael.
