Marsh Farm Hotel - Emma and Ben
Who’d have thought that a mid-November Wedding could be so sunny?!
I’m not complaining, it was actually lovely to be able to make photographic decisions based on too much sunshine rather than deciding how best to avoid any rain!
I started the day by catching up with Emma at home where she was busy with her preparations alongside her Bridal party. Before long we were en-route to the local Church for the ceremony.
After the ceremony there were a couple of surprises in store - the first being that a local choir had been arranged by Emma’s Dad to sing them out immediately following the ceremony. The second was the surprise reveal that Ben and all of his Groomsmen were wearing Harry Potter Slytherin socks - not the first nod to Harry Potter that was dotted through the day!
After some formal photos in the sunny Church courtyard we made the brief journey to Marsh Farm Hotel for their reception where I found their wedding cake topped with a HUGE Snitch - a sweet little nod to a gift that Ben and presented to Emma on their first date.
After a few more formal photos it was time to retreat inside for some food and the speeches. The evening celebrations were then kicked off with the cutting of the cake and finally with a carefully choreographed dance that didn’t just involve Emma and Ben but also all three of her sisters and her parents! It was all very emotional!
Below you will find a very small selection of my favourite images from the day. To view the full gallery, please contact Emma or Ben.
