Guyers House Wedding Photography - Laura and Dean

My first wedding of 2024 and it was a lovely, intimate affair at Guyers House in Corsham.

Laura and Dean booked me towards the end of 2023 for their February celebration and it felt almost serendipitous! Laura simply stumbled across me at a Wedding Show but immediately realised that her fiancé had mentioned me as a potential photographer for their special day. There I was, my diary was clear and everything just fell into place!

When their day arrived, my first job was to capture some detail shots of the venue before the guests started to arrive for the ceremony. This took place in the Ballroom and was a lovely personal family-oriented ceremony with readings from both Dean’s Dad and Laura’s Mum and with their sisters both acting as witnesses.

Following the ceremony, Laura and Dean led the guests through the hotel for a drinks reception with Winter Pimms. Then, whilst I whisked Laura, Dean and their family away for the formal photos, their guests were kept entertained by some amazing magic by Alex (Arc Magic).

Even though it was February the weather was kind enough to allow us outdoors for some couples pictures. Thankfully we also managed to beat the rain to get everyone outside for a group shot and finally some confetti!

Before long, Laura and Dean were being announced into their Wedding Breakfast and, after a few poignant (and amusing) speeches, I took my leave and left them to their celebrations.
