Ashmolean Museum - Alex and Ben

Alex and Ben’s celebration was definitely unique! Taking place in the beautiful City of Oxford, they had decided to split their celebration across two days.

This first day would see their legal ceremony attended by just their closest family. This was followed by a drinks reception at a local hotel and finally a tapas meal with some additional guests at the restaurant where they had their first date.

Their second day was the time to party! They were joined by a large gathering of friends and family for welcome drinks, a three-course meal and dancing late into the night!

The most exciting thing about it from my perspective was that it was all taking place at the beautiful Ashmolean Museum! Their ceremony took place in European Art Gallery where an antique harpsichord was played to herald their arrival. Returning for their party a couple of days later, their guests were treated to dinner in the impressive Hall of Statues, watched over by Greek and Roman Statues.

It was definitely an exciting and unique celebration which I was very excited to document.
