Full disclosure - Jessica and Matthew were already married when I joined them to photograph their wedding party at Owl Lodge in August.

Having legally got married a day or two before, they had gathered all of their friends and family together for a “mock” ceremony presided over by one of their friends. Little was I to know that they would be dressed as a Priest and the ceremony would involve swigs from a hip flask and a great deal of laughter! It was such a fun evening!

Jessica and Matthew had asked me to come along and take lots of candid photos of everyone celebrating as well as organise a handful of formal photos. It was a lovely relaxed party and they made me feel really welcome - when it came time for me to leave I really was tempted to stick around, have a drink and party into the evening with them!

Alas, with their party coming at the end of a pretty full on couple of days, I opted to leave them to it and headed home to bed instead!
