Chrissy and James - Priston Mill
I can’t quite remember how many “Plan B’s” that Chrissy and James had got up to. But after a postponement, a change in date and also a change in venue, they were finally married at Holy Trinity Church in the centre of Frome with their reception taking place at the beautiful Priston Mill.
I joined Chrissy in the morning to capture some of her preparations before dashing across to Frome to catch up with James looking very dapper in his kilt! Chrissy’s sister joined us via video-link throughout the morning and even had the best seat in the house at the front of the church during the ceremony.
After a beautiful ceremony it was on to Priston Mill where I found a whole host of decorations that had been carefully set up by their friends who just so happen to run an event decor company - I particularly loved all of the photographs and also the photocopied note written by James when he was a little boy detailing what he would do on his honeymoon - so cute!
There was confetti, emotional speeches, LOTS of dancing (including a dance lesson), some amazing magic tricks (courtesy of Darren Campbell) and the day was brought to a close with sparklers and some pretty spectacular fireworks! I have no doubt that, once I had departed, the dancing continued long into the night!
Below you will find just a small selection of photos from the day. To view the full gallery, please head here (the password can be obtained from either Chrissy or James).
